If you’ve been to the Hayward KOA, you know there are lots of fun family activities for kids of all ages.

The wet and wild 300-foot water slide

He adjusts his goggles and acknowledges the crowd. Focused, he waits for just the right moment. It’s the first run of the year. The adrenaline pumps. The anticipation builds. (Finally, the kid behind says, “Let’s go!”) He’s off and engulfed by the moment and the waves of water that refresh on this hot summer day. With each turn he picks up speed. As he accelerates down, water sprays in his wake. The crowd is in awe as he negotiates his way like he’s in midseason form. The run is a blur of twists and turns, and as he reaches the end he bursts into a smile, tugs on his suit and exclaims, “I’m going again!”

The ginormous jumping pillow

Boing. Boing. Boing. A Hayward KOA kids favorite! It’s a ton of fun for everyone, whether jumping or watching.

Climbing the spiderweb

Don’t get caught in the spiderweb! This tricky-yet-fun activity will occupy the youngsters and oldsters for hours.

The giant 80,000-gallon heated swimming pool

Most swimming pools are 15 to 20,000 gallons, while the huge, kidney-shaped pool at Hayward KOA is an amazing 80,000 gallons. This means more room for more fun.

Saturday night dances with a real DJ

Our live DJ Saturday night dances have become legendary, thanks to a sophisticated sound system and plenty of people who are here to have fun.

Panning for gold in the mining sluice

Strike it rich at our mining sluice! You never know what you might find to take home.

Outdoor movies on the inflatable movie screen

Bet you’ve never watched an outdoor movie on an inflatable movie screen! Here’s your chance to experience something new, come join us on 'The Green' and bring some popcorn!

18-hole miniature golf course

Everybody loves mini-golf, and you’ll love the Hayward KOA mini-golf course. We recondition it every year, so it’s always in great shape!

Crafts for kids

There are always plenty of craft projects going on at Hayward KOA, often related to our weekend themes.

Wagon rides with farmer Matt
