If you’ve been to the Hayward KOA, you know there are lots of fun family activities for kids of all ages.

Faster & More Furious Water Slide

Hayward KOA’s 300-foot water slide has been completely re-surfaced so it’s now faster and more furious than ever. Race down the straight sections in waves of refreshing water, then lean into the turns as the rushing water and you “drift” through them. The run is a blur of twists and turns and ends with a smile! “I’m going again!”

Note: there is an additional admittance fee to this attraction.

The ginormous jumping pillow

Boing. Boing. Boing. A Hayward KOA kids favorite! It’s a ton of fun for everyone, whether jumping or watching.

Note: there is an additional admittance fee to this attraction.

Climbing the spiderweb

Don’t get caught in the spiderweb! This tricky-yet-fun activity will occupy the youngsters and oldsters for hours.

"Magma" - Heated Pool

Competition swimmers need cooler pool temperatures to race, but recreational swimmers want to be comfortable. Hayward KOA’s pool is intended for family campers looking for recreation, so the pool now has an upgraded “magma” 750,000 BTU heating system, able to heat the 80,000 gallon pool to a perfect recreational swimming temperature, no matter if it’s early in the season, later, or all summer long.

Saturday night dances with a real DJ

Our live DJ Saturday night dances have become legendary, thanks to a sophisticated sound system and plenty of people who are here to have fun.

Panning for gold in the mining sluice

Strike it rich at our mining sluice! You never know what you might find to take home.

Outdoor movies on the inflatable movie screen

Bet you’ve never watched an outdoor movie on an inflatable movie screen! Here’s your chance to experience something new, come join us on 'The Green' and bring some popcorn!

18-hole miniature golf course

Everybody loves mini-golf, and you’ll love the Hayward KOA mini-golf course. We recondition it every year, so it’s always in great shape!

Note: there is an additional admittance fee to this attraction.

Crafts for kids

There are always plenty of craft projects going on at Hayward KOA, often related to our weekend themes.

Wagon rides with farmer Matt

Kids love rides and this one is a Hayward KOA classic. Get on the wagon with farmer Matt.

Friday night s’mores

It just wouldn’t be camping without s’mores. That’s why we have free s’mores for everyone every Friday night. Don’t miss out!

And, there's playground fun for everyone.

Pirate Ship

Ahoy! Get ready for some swashbuckling fun on the Hayward KOA pirate ship.
